To me Sharps Containers are Public Health. They provide a safe way to dispose of needles and other medical waste while keeping nurses and patients safe. The best part is after the waste is disposed of, the container is sanitized and can be reused so it's also friendly to the environment. Teaching people to dispose of needles properly can help prevent the spread of diseases like HIV and other blood borne infections.
