Up to Date Vaccinations = Public Health

This photo represents Public Health because when someone has and keeps their vaccinations up to date, it not only protects the individual but also the community and society at large.  Public Health includes the prevention of illness and disease, and with us entering the beginning of flu season it is important to remember to have and keep our vaccinations up to date.  We are blessed to have (public) Health Departments in cities and counties all over the United States.  It is up to us to make sure we are protected and not unnecessarily making ourselves or others vulnerable to preventable illness and disease.  This is a small representation of what is Public Health.
