Detergent washes your clothes and makes sure that you are clean and fresh. Clothes can carry bacteria and viruses and make you sick, with washing your clothes it gets rid of these problems. If we didn't wash our clothing it would spread disease around to other people. This is Public Health because it is all about disease prevention. It also promotes healthy living.
