Rental Houses = Public Health

This old shed behind the house I am renting is a perfect example of the need to promote public health awareness, especially in environmental health, and choosing college housing.  Since living here I have found this shed to be the home of wasps, mice, cats, and I am sure countless other "lodgers" as well.  Besides harboring pests and animals, the building is a constant threat when the weather is anything less than perfect.  College students need to make sure their housing choices are good for their health as well as their wallets, and take the necessary precautions to keep their living space free from pests and potential disease.
