Stair Railing = Public Health

Many stairs on our campus, and in many public places overall, have rails on either side of the steps. Some people refuse to use it, claiming to be a germaphobe since it is covered in several bacteria. However, those that trip, stumble, or possibly fall forward reach out for its assurance. It is a safe guard, catching those that can't quite find their next step. It keeps the public safe while walking up and down stairs. Like those stairs leading to and from the Richard's Building. Who could survive those without our good friends, the rails?
