Clean Air = Public Health
Public health encompasses such a large part of our daily lives, and it includes the little things like the air we breath. Thanks to research proving that second hand smoke can be as dangerous as smoking itself non smoking areas have been created to protect society from unclean air. Signs at public places like this restaurant remind smokers that they cant smoke within fifty feet of the area. It is important to start good health practices young by protecting the areas that children are likely to attend thereby building the foundation for healthier generations. This is a no smoking sign and it is public health.
