Recreation = Public Health

The field of Public Health isn't entirely based upon disease prevention, but also helps communities and individuals develop an overall spiritual, physical, and mental well being. I believe that public recreational facilities help us achieve this goal. I spent and enjoyed a large part of my freshman year at 7 Peaks Ice Arena where they offer a wide array of recreational activities to the public such as: public skating, broomball, "Learn to Skate" classes, figure skating classes, indoor soccer leagues, scout merit badge programs, school field trips, and several ice hockey leagues, while being the home for BYU's hockey program as well.
