     To me public health is not only keeping citizens healthy, but safe as well. Tall fences around swimming pools prevent younger children from entering the pool area and drowning. I am from Arizona, where drowning is the number one cause of death among children from the ages 1 to 4. Raising awareness to prevent these drownings seems like a very simple thing and could save many lives.
