Trash disposal is something that defines public health to me. The waste management system helps the community out in a variety of ways. By having ways of properly disposing of trash, including recyclable materials, citizens are able to have more hygienic living conditions, prevent food-borne illness and disease from spreading, and the environment stays cleaner and landfills can be lessened when the trash is taken care of in the right manner.
