Disposable gloves like these help prevent the spread of disease and infection by providing a physical barrier between contaminated surfaces (i.e. soiled hospital linens) and the wearer's skin. If worn properly, they can help minimize the transmission of many infectious agents to other individuals. Disposable gloves are public health.
