Hand Washing and Public Health

One of the most sure fire ways to prevent and reduce the spread of diseases is through proper hand washing, which most people fail to do. Good technique requires at least 30 seconds of scrubbing, and every time I am in a public restroom, I see customers and employees alike wet their hands, rub soap around, and rinse in five seconds flat. I think one way to improve overall public health is to educate the public on the importance of  proper hand washing everywhere they go.
