Ice Melt and Road Salt = Public Health
We are all too familiar with how slippery and scary our roads and sidewalks can be during the winter. Driving and even walking anywhere is usually pretty dangerous and we cautiously tip toe along trying not to die. On a particularly icy day I saw seven missionaries at the MTC go to the hospital with injuries from slipping on the ice. When ice melt and road salt are used on the ground, it makes it much safer for us to walk and drive on, increasing the well-being of the public.
