Public health professionals work to protect the people that we love most. Public health is all about pushing the public to live a healthier lifestyle by promoting government agencies to publish and distribute reliable health information in an effort to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. We are surrounded by public heath efforts each and everyday. The feminine hygiene vendors and waste receptacles found in public restrooms are a great example of one way health professionals work to decrease the spread of germs, bacteria, and disease in public bathrooms.
